Seven former Indiana Hoosiers were in action this weekend during the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.

A week after we saw former Hoosiers go 3-1 in the Wildcard weekend, four more Hoosiers were in action this weekend with a trip to the conference championships on the line.

This week though, didn’t see the success that last week brought, as the overall record for their respective teams was just 2-3.

After a first round bye, Rodger Saffold got his first action of the playoffs as the Los Angeles Rams got a 30-22 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

An All-Pro selection in 2017, Saffold has started all but three games in his career.

Taken 33rd overall in the 2010 NFL Draft, Saffold has played his entire career with the Rams, and is in the last year of his five-year $31.7 million deal he signed in 2014.

On the other side of the field in the Rams and Cowboys game was Chris Covington.

Chris Covington, a rookie with the Dallas Cowboys, was part of the Cowboys defense that tried to slow down the Rams great offense.

He didn’t see the field, however, in their loss.

Another loss came in Foxborough when the Los Angeles Chargers lost to the New England Patriots 41-28.

Dan Feeney, an offensive lineman for the Chargers, saw his season come to a close in the first game on Sunday at the hands of Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Feeney, a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, started every game this season after starting just nine during his rookie season.

Finally, it was Nate Sudfeld who saw his season come to an end when the New Orleans Saints took down the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, 20-14.

After getting up 14-0 early in the game, they didn’t score in the final three quarters.

Sudfeld was the backup to Nick Foles, but didn’t see the field in either of their two playoff games.

Wide receivers, Simmie Cobbs and Shane Wynn, both on the Saints, and Chiefs linebacker, Robert McCray, didn’t see any action on in their respective games.

Tune in next Sunday as four Hoosiers play for the chance to advance to the Super Bowl.
