Indiana Hoosiers guard Al Durham left their game on Monday night with a lower leg injury and did not return

Adding to the already injury prone roster, Al Durham left Monday night’s game around the under four minute media timeout in the first half, never returning back to action.

He was seen limping to the locker room at the timeout and didn’t return to the bench until almost midway through the second half.

After the game, coach Archie Miller addressed Durham’s injury, just stating that he wasn’t available to return to the game in the second half.

Durham played just six minutes in the first half before he exited with the injury, going just 0-for-1 from the field.

On the season, the 6-foot-4 guard is averaging 8.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from three.

Averaging 10.3 points per game in his last four games, after averaging just 3.0 points in their previous three, Durham had started to look more comfortable after a bit of a midseason slump.

With the skills to become a key third scorer for the Hoosiers, hopefully this isn’t something that will sideline him for too long.

It is unknown how long the sophomore guard will be out, but with already seven players on the roster who have missed time this season, an extended absence would be devastating for coach Archie Miller and the Indiana Hoosiers.
