Joe Lunardi came out with his latest projections for the NCAA Tournament, with the Hoosiers dropping since last week.

A week after the Hoosiers lost to the Michigan Wolverines, they have fallen one seed line in the newest ESPN Bracketology.

After being a five seed in last week’s Bracketology, the Hoosiers dropped to the six line, with a matchup against a play in game of Creighton and Kansas State.

It is slightly disappointing for an Indiana team that outside of the first 10 minutes of the game – with Juwan Morgan and Romeo Langford in foul trouble within the first four minutes – on Sunday, played Michigan very well, outscoring them even in the second half.

The other six seeds are all familiar to the Hoosiers as Marquette, Nebraska, and Ohio State are all the other teams on the six seed line.

Ahead of them, are Mississippi State, Buffalo, Wisconsin, and Iowa State, with two of them (Iowa St vs Baylor and Mississippi St vs South Carolina) having bad losses this week to unranked teams.

Wisconsin on the other hand, hasn’t been ranked in the top 25 – losing two of their last three – for the last two weeks.

The Hoosiers, if they were to get past their opening round game, could have one of the best matchups of the entire tournament. They would be matched up against the winner of North Carolina vs Lehigh in just the round of 32.

WIth games against Maryland, Nebraska, and Purdue coming up, Indiana can go back on the upswing with a couple of good wins.
