Your 12-1 Indiana Basketball women’s team will play host to the Penn State Nittany Lions on New Year’s Eve. This is why you should care.

The Indiana Basketball women’s program has gotten off to an amazing start to their 2018-19 campaign and will look to close out 2018 with a bang on New Year’s even against Penn State. Ali Patberg has been phenomenal since being eligible as a transfer from Notre Dame a season ago. This team has more than one star though.

Brenna Wise and Jaelynn Penn have been just as important to this ball club. All three can score at will. This has been a really fun team to watch all season long. We are so excited that we get some Hoosier Basketball on the last day of 2018. This women’s unit isn’t messing around and keeps proving it week in and week out. In a tough road win against rival Illinois, all three super stars showed up and shot the lights out.

Junior Ali Patberg finished with 20 points and six assists. She has been a phenomenal player for us all season long and will look to continue her dominant ways against Penn State tonight. While Sophmore guard Jaelynn Penn hit an outstanding five three pointers on her way to 19 points. Brenna Wise chipped in with 12 as this team continues to gel as a complete unit.

December 20th was a tough loss for our Hoosier ladies as they lost a close game to Grambling State. They haven’t looked back and continue to grow and learn from that tough loss. Penn State comes into this game at 7-5 and 0-1 in Big Ten play. You better believe our girls will be ready to rock the home crowd in a much needed Big Ten win. Look for the three headed monster of Patberg, Penn and Wise to dominate another big time game.
