We will dive into how Romeo Langford is progressing and how he is affecting Indiana Basketball.

Romeo Langford committed to Indiana Basketball and decided to stay home and truly make his mark in his home state. Mr. Indiana Basketball has sparked our team in many ways this season. He has a current streak of double digit points since the beginning of the 2018 campaign. He is the only Hoosier to score 10 or more points in every game this season.

As a true freshman Langford has helped this team to a national ranking for the first time in the Archie Miller era. We are truly fortunate to have him on our squad this season. Of course he has his ups and downs, but that hasn’t affected his overall play. He has lead this team in mostly every game this season. Archie Miller did a great job by keeping him around for our program.

Through 13 games played this season Langford is averaging 17.5 points per game. He managed to reach 19.5 points per game but has failed to score over 18 points the last three games. Still, Langford has been a bright spot for this ball club. He is a true freshman afterall and most likely a one and done candidate. We are nonetheless happy to have him here with us instead of Kansas.

Langford will continue to progress as the season plays on. We are getting ready to start Big Ten play. As Indiana boasts the best all-time winning percentage in Big Ten history. Langford will help us win many Big Ten games down the stretch. We are most looking forward to the January 6th game that will be held at Michigan. We think Romeo will play his best games going forward.

How do you feel Langford has done this season? Has he lived up to your expectations? What can he do to improve going forward?
