Indiana Football: IU lands quarterback Jack Tuttle
By Dylan Broady
The Indiana Football program landed 4-star quarterback Jack Tuttle today.
According to iuhoosiers.com the Indiana Football program has landed a highly touted quarterback in the name of Jack Tuttle. He was offered scholarships by high profile schools such as Alabama. Tuttle was a true freshman last season for the Utah Utes, but saw no game action in his tenure there. If Tuttle can be anything close to as advertised the Hoosiers have a dangerous replacement for Peyton Ramsey.
Tuttle will be a redshirt freshman starting in the spring of 2019. Head Coach Tom Allen said he is a great addition to our program and brings tremendous talent to Indiana’s quarterback room. The Hoosiers landed a possible all-star in the making today. According to the iuhoosiers.com website and 247sports Tuttle was ranked the No.5 quarterback prospect and 13th overall in the state of California
Tuttle also was apart of the Elite 11 Finals and won the Silver pigskin award handed out to San Diego County’s most outstanding high school player. This kid has many more awards and accolades to his name. We are very fortunate he has chosen to call Indiana home. We hope to see great things from this California standout.
We all know how much we need top national talent here at IU. Hold your heads up high Hoosiers, our football program is about to undergo drastic changes. It all starts with the quarterback position. Tuttle is known for being a great leader and very talented. With him bringing his talents to Indiana Football, we hope it plays a major role in bringing in more top talented players.
We have a lot more to come from early signing days. This is only the beginning in the Tom Allen era. Just like Archie Miller, Allen has managed to convince a lot of Hoosiers to stay home and represent their home state with pride. Finally, our football program will be annual contenders in a conference that demands elite athletes.
