Indiana Hoosiers earned a tough win against the Louisville Cardinals Saturday.

Our Indiana Hoosiers have fought their way to a well deserved 8-2 record. Building on their three game winning streak, Indiana seems to be rounding into shape. Romeo Langford once again lead all Hoosiers in scoring with 21 points. Juwan Morgan helped in a big way with his 15 points.

The bench showed up today as well adding 13 combined points. Robert Phinisee and Justin Smith combined for 19 points. Phinisee showed up in a big way for the Indiana Hoosiers today. Hitting three big three pointers on his way to 10 points and six rebounds. Smith added in nine rebounds and a couple of assists to boot.

This young team has really come into form pulling out some close victories. This win should really boost the morale of Hoosier Nation. This was a big win in so many ways. The Hoosiers will get a much needed break until they travel to Butler next Saturday. We should all be excited about the potential this team has going forward.

With Indiana being 8-2 after their first 10 games this is a really great opportunity to talk about how good this team could actually be. Langford has averaged roughly 18 points per game this season. His performance today should allow all of us here in Hoosier Land to feel a lot better about this team going forward. With the assistance of Morgan and Phinisee this squad’s arrow is trending up.

Next Saturday will be another good test to this teams resolve. We haven’t been the same team on the road. The game that comes to our minds specifically was played in Arkansas. It was young in the season and we think each game has taught this team a different lesson. Hopefully, next Saturday when we travel to Butler we can use what we have learned and come away with a much needed road victory.
