Indiana Hoosiers will face a tough task Saturday afternoon when they play the Louisville Cardinals.

What can we expect from IU?

Let’s go over some facts about this years team. We will cover the good and the bad. Good news always first. This team has proven to be very resilient despite their turnover issues. They improved their free throw percentage against Penn State. Although they struggle at times with basic basketball mechanics, you can’t deny the raw talent this team possesses.

Romeo Langford has been outstanding in every game in his 2018 campaign. He has averaged a team high 18 points per game this season. Could he make better decisions at times? Of course, everyone could always make better decisions at times on the court. What we can take away from this team is they’re never die attitude. No matter how behind this team gets in games, they never stop fighting.

Against Penn State they were down 9-0 to start the game. They fought back and ended up being ahead by 14 points at one point during the game. This team is young and has a lot to learn. They have made huge strides since the loss to Duke.

What can we expect from Louisville?

We can expect forward Jordan Nwora to keep up his average of 17 points per game. He has led this team in points in nearly every game this season. The Indiana Hoosiers need to be careful as this Louisville squad beat a really good Michigan State team at home back on November 27th.

The reality of this game is that this Louisville Cardinals team can ball. They have had some tough losses this season. They lost to Marquette whom the Hoosiers beat this season by 23 points. We are not saying that simple twist of fate means we have a home run win this Saturday.

All we are saying is this should be a good win for our Indiana Hoosiers to build upon. We need tough wins to build character. We have a lot of tough games ahead and we need all the confidence we can get.
