Indiana football has a minor setback on Monday as one of their four commits for 2018, Kristian Pechac, has decided to reopen his recruitment.
Early Monday morning, three-star running in the class of 2018 Kristian Pechac announced he would be decommiting from Indiana. According to his personal Twitter account, he has decided to reopen the recruitment process this summer.
Pechac is listed as a three-star running back and the No. 546 best player in the country according to 247Sports Composite. Pechac is a Bloomington, IN native and will play his senior season at Bloomington South high school. He is the No. 28 player at his position and No. 6 in the state of Indiana.
Pechac recently committed to play for Indiana and head coach Tom Allen back in April 2017. The move for him to reopen his recruitment process is still a bit unknown. Pechac has offers from other schools including Cincinnati, Minnesota, Akron, Kentucky and Bowling Green.
Here are some of the highlights from Krisitan Pechac:
Pechac joins three-star recruit Cam Jones as the second player to decommit from Indiana in a matter of weeks. The Hoosiers now have three players locked up for the 2018 season as hard commits. The recruiting process for next season is still in its early stages, look for Coach Tom Allen to do some legitimate recruiting over the course of the next several months. Much like the Indiana basketball program, this will be the first full year in which Coach Allen and his staff will have full control of all aspects of the team.
