Tevin Coleman Not Happy About Madden 16 Rating
By Kyle Grand
The revealing of Madden player ratings has become an annual affair and the video game let a group of rookies in on what they would be rated and recorded the reactions. One of the chosen few was former Indiana running back Tevin Coleman. Coleman will be suiting up for the Falcons after being taken in the third round.
He predicted a 92 for himself, and when that wasn’t the number, he was less than thrilled.
For one, no rookie was even close that rating. Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper received an 82, the highest in the rookie class. So while Coleman is clearly confident in himself, (and this is a good thing) it was definitely a reach to think he would be rated that high.
As far as Coleman’s playing time is concerned, how much he’ll be on the field is still up in the air. He’s competing against two season veterans in Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith. Can we win the starting job? Of course. But we won’t have a true idea about how much the Falcons will use him until we get through training camp and preseason.
