After not getting an invite to the NFL Combine, Indiana wide receiver Shane Wynn dazzled at his pro day and showed why NFL teams might want to put him on their radar. He may be small, but he has blazing speed and put it on display by running a 4.29 40-yard dash.

The 40 is one of the most important tests in the eyes of NFL teams and a 4.29 will definitely get Wynn noticed. There is always a use for speed at the next level, and Wynn clearly has it.

Yes, teams will knock him for his 5’7″ frame, but sometimes it’s not all about size. Percy Harvin and Darren Sproles anyone? Both have had successful careers especially as returners, which Wynn can also do by the way.

If anything Wynn would be a very late round draft pick, but the type of speed he demonstrated today might just be enough to make an NFL roster.
