#2. Myles Jackson – LB – Redshirt Sophomore – 6’2″ 255lbs

The UCLA transfer has come into Bloomington and is immediately making an impact as a leader on the defense and has impressed Tom Allen and new defensive coordinator, Walt Bell. Before he even stepped foot on Indiana University’s campus, Allen was excited for his arrival:

"“Myles is a big, physical athlete who improves our defense. He can play multiple positions and we are excited for him to join us.”"

Jackson played in six games as a redshirt freshman at UCLA in 2021 and finished with six tackles, 1 sack and 1 fumble recovery for the 74th best defense in all of college football. Trying to somewhat fill the void left by now-NFL linebacker, Micah McFadden, who led Indiana football in solo tackles, assists, tackles for loss, and sacks, Jackson has a good frame to go along with Cam Jones and reignite this Hoosiers’ defensive unit.
