Indiana vs Wisconsin Prediction
This is a matchup of two teams whose seasons are starting to fall off the rails. Indiana has lost three straight and failed to cover in all three while Wisconsin is just 1-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven. The Hoosiers do have a trump card of sorts though – they’re playing at Assembly Hall! They’re 11-4 ATS at home this season and hope to avenge a 64-59 loss to the Badgers back in December.
Indiana has an excellent defense, ranking 9th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency behind the 4th-best 2-point defense. Wisconsin is terrible from beyond the arc with just the 286th-highest 3-point shooting percentage, so the Badgers’ game plan falls right into the Hoosiers’ strength.
With a size advantage inside, we can expect Indiana to get to the free throw line a lot tonight. They shot just 6/13 from the line in the first matchup against Wisconsin and if they can convert at the charity stripe, they should pull out the win.
