Indiana Football: Players that they are glad are gone

Shea Patterson

Patterson had a very underwhelming two years at Michigan, but don’t tell that to the Hoosiers. He had a pretty good game against them two years ago but absolutely lit them up last year.

In the game in Bloomington last year, Patterson had his best performance in a Michigan uniform. He went 20-32 for 366 yards and five touchdowns. He did throw an interception but it hardly mattered.

After the Hoosiers went up 14-7, Patterson took over and completely dominated Indiana. He would hook up with Nico Collins (who unfortunately is not gone) on his way to a career day. Patterson seemed to do whatever he wanted last year and the Hoosiers were happy to see that game end.

He may have disappointed in the rest of his career at Michigan, but there was something about playing against the Hoosiers.

Indiana will still have its hands full with either Dylan McCaffrey or Joe Milton under center, but just like the next guys on the list, they are happy they don’t have to deal with Patterson anymore.

Michigan is tough enough to beat for the Hoosiers, but when they have a guy like Patterson who has career days against them, they are happy to see them leave.
