Indiana football: Predicting every 2020 game

@ Wisconsin – September 4th

Wisconsin is one of the toughest places to play in the Big Ten, but what happens if there are no fans at the game? This game was already very interesting but if you take the fans out, all of a sudden this game is pretty even. The Badgers are still a good team and have a great defense but this is a huge prove it game for Indiana. If they can win this game it shows they can compete in the Big Ten and could set them up for a 6-0 or better start.

This game just seems like one that the Hoosiers win. It may be nothing more than just a hunch, but I think that Indiana comes out ready to play and picks up a HUGE road win.

vs Western Kentucky – September 12th

The Hilltoppers are the best non-conference team the Hoosiers are playing this year. They aren’t bad but they aren’t the best team either. That is how bad Indiana’s out of conference schedule is. The only thing that could trip the Hoosiers up in this game is if they beat Wisconsin and have a hangover from that game. It is possible, but the Hoosiers haven’t had great seasons very often so I don’t think this game will be a problem. Indiana starts slow but puts this game away by halftime.

vs Ball State – September 19th

The Cardinals tend to pay the Hoosiers tough, but this is a different team on a different mission. Indiana uses its superior offense and runs over Ball State for an easy win. We could talk more about this game, but I don’t think it will be much of a game so we will just move on.
