Indiana Football: Ranking the 5 toughest games in 2019
1. Ohio State Buckeyes
The Indiana Football program will start off Big Ten play against the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Big Ten championship winners for the past two seasons. Despite losing head coach Urban Meyer and many talented players to the NFL Draft, expect the Buckeyes to come out as tough as ever.
Led by new head coach Ryan Day and former five-star quarterback transfer Justin Fields from Georgia, who was granted immediate eligibility, Ohio State should form for a formidable offense.
They will also be aided by one of the best running backs in the nation in J.K. Dobbins, who will be a junior with over 2,400 rushing yards to his name.
The defense will be strong on the line with defensive end Chase Young, who is projected by many to be a top five pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
With all the tools necessary for an explosive offense and a defense loaded with experienced upperclassmen, Ohio State will undoubtedly be one of, if not Indiana football’s toughest opponent in the 2019-20 season.
