A four-star recruit listed his final seven schools and the Indiana Basketball program was included on his list.

The Hoosiers are still on the recruiting trail for the 2019 class, and have a new name on their radar.

Four-star recruit, Lester Quinones, announced his final seven schools in his recruitment on his twitter, including the Hoosiers.

The other schools who made the cut were Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Memphis, Georgia, and Maryland.

Ranked No. 64 according to 247Sports composite rankings, Quinones is the ninth rated shooting guard in the country.

With Indiana being the most recent school to come in to Quinones’ recruitment, the fact that they made it in his final list should have some promise around Bloomington.

The IMG Academy guard had this to say regarding his communication with Indiana and coach Archie Miller.

"“They came in just a little while ago and Coach Archie Miller has been texting me and my high school coaches lately. They need a scorer and shooter to come in right away, which I think I can do. I’m starting to build a strong relationship with Coach Miller and his assistants.”"

LSU and Maryland are the only two schools who have received an official visit so far, but Quinones doesn’t expect to make a decision until the “late spring”.

Quinones is a terrific scorer at all levels of the court. Great in transition, Quinones has top level speed in the open floor, with a terrific first step. The best part of his game is his shooting, though. With an incredibly quick release, Quinones has the ability to stretch the floor out to 23 feet.

Though he is not incredibly long and has only average athleticism, his tight handle and ability to create space, makes him lethal on the offensive end. His size, at 6-foot-5, is also a plus, helping him score over opponents.

With the assumption that Romeo Langford will be leaving for the NBA after this season, a scorer on the wing like Lester Quinones who can come in immediately and contribute is something that is extremely valuable this late in the recruiting season.
