Indiana Basketball: Hoosier Target Nick Marshall Chooses Memphis

Just 24 hours ago, the Hoosiers were in the running for center Nick Marshall. Indiana along with Connecticut, Memphis, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee made up Marshall’s final six schools.

Unfortunately, Tom Crean must continue looking for a big man. Marshall verbally committed to Memphis.

Marshall is a four-star prospect according to ESPN and has a lot of upside. He’s 6’11” and can run the floor — the type of big Tom Crean likes to have. He’s a true center and would have been a nice get for the Hoosiers.

Though he is reclassifying to the class of 2016, he may have been worth the wait. You can never have enough size in college basketball. But, for the Hoosiers, the search goes on.
